CMIH (College: Make it Happen)

This program is a multimedia roadmap through the college journey for middle school students and the adults who guide them. With the CMIH suite of interactive curricula, technology, and resources, students, educators, and parents can delve into college readiness like never before.

About

In 1994, the ICC published a suite of resources for middle school students and educators that have been disseminated to every school with an eighth-grade class. This program is a multimedia roadmap through the college journey for middle school students and the adults who guide them.

With the CMIH suite of interactive curricula, technology, and resources, students, educators, and parents can delve into college readiness like never before, as events are convened locally to inform middle school families and students about the steps to prepare for college.

In recent years, the ICC established a College Make it Happen Statewide Committee of Round Table members to revise and update these resources to be more engaging for the current student population. The new version of the CMIH materials includes augmented reality, videos, animated characters, and interactive capability.
